the slide-in category when it comes torange is the fastest-growing part of this part of the industry that we havetoday. that is the reason why this is such a big deal for us, i mean, we are theindustry leader and we want to build on our industry leadership with this launchthat we have coming out in the fall. well what we're seeing in the designcommunity is more contemporary, more linear lines when you look at kitchendesign today and that is exactly what a slide in front control range is. when youlook at a typical range that has the backguard and the controls on the back,this is completely different all the controls on the front and you get toshow off your backsplash in the kitchen.
the typical kitchen redesign or you knowwhen they go to remodel is about $18,000 you can get a really nice slide-in rangefor about two to three thousand dollars and it fits in the exact same space. youcan redo your backsplash and that's becoming more and more of a trend indesign in the kitchen these days. one of the things that's been a trend in themarketplace is stainless alternatives, i mean we launched slate years ago andthat's been a huge success, it still continues to grow for us. also what we'veseen in the marketplace is the growth of a new finish called black stainlesswhich is more of a stainless but it has the black finish but it's shiny. we'realso going to launch that, plus we're
gonna launch something brand new to theindustry called black slate which is a matte black finish that has the blackstainless handles on it.
