hiiii!! namaskar!! what's up?? hope you all are doing good.i'm also doing good today i'm going to do a simple as well as a tasty chicken cutlet its almost time to begin the ramzan fasting.and i've been getting so many requests for snack recipes so i thought to make a simple recipe for you today those who haven't seen/tried my vegetable cutlet, please do watch and try i've given a detailed description in that video.therefore,in this chicken cutlet recipe,i'll give you a short description only so let's see how to make the easy and tasty chicken cutlet here i've taken the boneless breast piece ( 1/2 kg) of a chicken i've pressure cooked it for one whistle by adding a pinch of turmeric powder 1/2 tsp of pepper powder salt and 1/4 glass of water

after cooking sieve it well using a strainer and keep aside if you do not have the boneless chicken with you, take the chicken, remove the bones from it and cook them in the same way there should not be bones in the chicken i'm going to chop this in my chopper.if you don't have a chopper, put it in the mixie and just whip them for some seconds now let me chop these pieces water content should not be more in the chicken pieces.so after straining, whip it only after cooling the pieces well the consistency should be like this, just like the bread crumbs.keep them aside we need potatoes.here i've cooked 2 potatoes, then removed the skin and mashed them well let it cool down.we can do further steps after that

in a kadai, pour 2 tbsp of sunflower oil/coconut oil and heat enough.i prefer sunflower oil for this recipe when it is hot enough add 2 small onions finely chopped add 1 tbsp of finely chopped ginger and 1 tbsp of finely chopped garlic into it i'm going to add 3 finely chopped green chilllies (adjust with you choice) both chicken and potato were cooked by adding salt in them.so now carefully add salt into this masala saute them well till it become transparent.then we can add the powders into it add some finely chopped curry leaves/coriander leaves into it curry leaves gives a naadan flavor to it making of chicken cutlet is easier than the making of vegetable cutlet

you can use this same recipe for making beef cutlet and mutton cutlet.just replace chicken with your favorite meat let's add powders to this onion mix add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder,1 tsp of pepper powder and 1 tsp of garam masala if you want, you can increase the amount of powders later instead of chilly powder, here we have used green chillies and pepper powder in the masala we do not add chilly powder and coriander powder in this recipe saute till the raw smell goes i've already given a detailed description of storing of cutlets and other tips, in my vegetable cutlet video so i don't want you to get bored of me by explaining the whole again

those who haven't watched that video, please do watch.you can also check out the description box, where i've given the recipe in short or go through the link given when the raw smell goes, add the chopped chicken into the masala mix them well in order to make the masala reach everywhere at the end,i'll let you know, about the number of cutlets we could make with this quantity of ingredients i've been getting requests for the non vegetarian cutlet recipes. so i thought to make it with chicken, because my kids won't eat other non veg cutlets adjust the spice level according to your preferences these are mixed well.now add the mashed potato into this

we add potato as a binding agent.we can shape the cutlets only with the help of this mashed potato mix well the potato with the chicken keep the flame in medium/low,when you mix them.otherwise it may burn quickly try to get the water content dry i've already drained the chicken.so it has no water content in it mixing would become easy if you do it with a fork it would not be easy to mix them whole with a spatula after mixing, let it cook for another 5 minutes in medium flame then let it cool down and make the cutlets

check the taste at this stage and make necessary adjustments i'm adding some salt and 1/2 tsp of pepper powder because i felt it both less in the mix also adding 1/2 tsp of garam masala.so in total, you can add 1 1/2 tsp of garam masala and 1 1/2 tsp of pepper powder mix them well now it tastes perfect.so its done and take it off from the stove and let it cool down.after that we can make them into the shape of our choice it has cool down well.there is no water content in it. if you are able to make balls with it and if it is not sticking on your hands when you try to make a ball with it,then the consistency would be perfect make balls as i said in the veg cutlet video then make it into any shape that you prefer. like, round, oval etc

here i'm going to make small sized cutlets in this shape in a bowl, take egg whites out of 2 eggs and beat it well with a fork in my veg cutlet video,i've used maida batter instead of this egg white.dip the cutlet in the egg white here i've taken bread crumbs which i bought from the shop if you don't have such bread crumbs, take some bread slices and heat them for some seconds after cooling it,just whip them using a mixie. so roll the cutlets well in the bread crumbs and keep it aside in a plate make the cutlets with the remaining chicken mix in the same way after making the shapes with the remaining mix,i'll tell you the total number of cutlets that can be made out of this mix

i've made 22 oval shaped cutlets and 11 small heart shaped cutlets for my little son i used to make chapathi, poori, in different shapes using a cooking cutter just for my son,to make him interested to have his food so you can make it in any shape you want you can keep it in the fridge if you want to fry it later i've been getting complaints that cutlets don't stay intact and keep breaking into pieces fry the cutlets immediately after taking it out from the freezer.should not keep the cutlets outside the freezer for long time. if you keep it for longer period outside, the ice melts and the coating would be lost. now let's fry the cutlets pour some oil into the pan and let the oil get heated up.

once its hot we can start placing the cutlets one by one into the pan. do not add too much of oil.but when u place a cutlet in the oil, half of it should be under the oil. maintain the flame in medium.carefully place the cutlets one by one into the oil do not fill the pan with more number of cutlets.then it would be difficult for you to flip them always maintain the flame in medium handle each pieces very carefully.otherwise it may break you can make chicken cutlet very easily tapioca cutlet is my favorite i don't now how many of you have had it

i wish to do a video on that.but we need to get good tapioca to make the cutlets slowly flip each pieces after 2 minutes make shapes according to your choice last time i made cutlets in round shape.that's why i made it oval this time we can make this very quickly those who haven't seen the veg cutlet video, please do watch my regular viewers know that i'm not a snack lover but i'll try my level best to do snack recipes with respect to your requests you must try it at home and don't forget to send your feedback

i'll do my duty and you have to do your duties as well..hehe... a nice golden colour should be there then only it look nice the filling part is already cooked so we have to cook the outer layer only so you can take it out from the oil, when the perfecr color is seen flip the cutlets for 2 times minimum.then only you will get the exact colour some people used to deep fry the cutlets.but please do not deep fry it in lot of oil hope you haven't forget about the curryworld challenge one of my follower has completed the 104 dishes (veg) challenge and send me some pics and video people who can take the challenge, please accept and do your best

i've flipped it one more time.its done.let's take it out from the oil keep the fried cutlets in a kitchen tissue.fry the remaining cutlets in the same way the heart shaped cutlets are also ready so the easy and tasty chicken cutlets are ready to serve please do try and send me your feedback see you all with a new recipe till then ,thank you
