here's a video full of tips for another great project, from the experts at home hardware. if you're like me and you've collected a lot of beautiful kitchen accessories over the years, you might want to consider putting them on display. and what i want to build is a copper rack which not only is beautiful, but really touches on that copper exposed pipe trend we're seeing everywhere. to begin, i went to home hardware and picked up 20 ft of 1/2" copper pipe. now the first step is to cut all the tubing to the appropriate lenghts. you can customize it to any kind of size you want. don't be intimidated because copper is actually a very soft metal and with this telescopic tubing cutter, it's actually very easy.
so i've cut all my pieces down to size and i've labeled them all because i have a lot of different lengths, and now i'm ready to assemble. i'm almost done, all i need to do now is secure all the pieces and i'm going to do that with some instant crazy glue. the gluing is done, all that's left to do is to attach these industrial flanges to the rack, which will allow me to mount it to the wall. i love how this project turned out and how easily it came together. i've finally achieved that trendy copper pipe look that'll add an industrial feel to my space. now i have quick access to all my favorite items and can showcase them in my kitchen. home owners helping homeowners with expert advice
