thanks for joining us today for this editionof the outdoor style show with texas custom patios. today we will be looking at beforeand after pictures of some recent projects that we have done. our first "before" shows a lovely brick homewith a small covered area outside the back door. in the "after" pictures, you cansee the dramatic difference that a texas custom patios outdoor living room makes. the brick columnsand arches bring a french-quarter feeling to this houston area home. this is carriedalong in details like the keystone features at the apex of each arch and the handcraftedcarriage lights on each column. as we move inside this great outdoor living room, youimmediately notice the large, wood-burning
fireplace and finely-crafted coffered ceiling.the hearth offers a cozy seating area that is extended on both sides with seating wallsunder the arches. our next example shows a large brick homewith a great pool, but no covered area for outdoor living. the "after" picture showsthe transformation that is the result of adding outdoor style to your home. there is now an expanseof covered living space that adds to the architecture of the home. details like the high-pitchedgable at the end of the pool give you the feeling that this pretty cover has been hereall along. as we look inside this great space, you'll note the soaring cathedral ceilingfinished with stained tongue-and-groove pine and contrasting beams that draw the eyes upward.a large outdoor kitchen offers plenty of cooking
and entertaining space with its built in professionalgrill and raised bar area. our last "before" picture shows a nice suburbanhome with a wide, yet shallow outdoor space encumbered by too many large columns. in the"after" pictures, you can see the roof and columns were moved and a larger cover wasadded to open up the space and make it not only useable but beautiful. the stone columnplinths compliment the home and add interest while the matching brick cap ties into thehome perfectly. from the inside you can see the woodturning fireplace that draws youreyes up to the beautiful vaulted ceiling. the low voltage lighting on the columns addswarmth and character as well. thank you again for watching the outdoor styleshow with texas custom patios. please like
