kitchen design ideas with black appliances
hi lovelies! it's me, simplycherie - making home and entertaining simple. declutter with me! today i amgoing to declutter and organize the small appliances cabinet. now this cabinet is tothe bottom right of the stove. so i have some sauces and oils for cooking. i havesmall appliances here, and i do have other kitchen gadgets that i don't useoften, but i'm keeping them. so let me see what i can declutter and organize. thisis what my small appliances cabinet looks like right now. it's to the rightof the stove and below the spice cabinet and the countertop where i prep forcooking. it has the shelf liners and the pull-out chrome drawers that i have inother parts of my kitchen. i refer to it
as our "small appliances cabinet" because it has our rice cooker, our toaster, and our electric can opener here. my bakingpans are here also and some baking bowls. i've been wanting to put all my bakingsupplies in one area so i'm going to do that now. and then this also has a coupleshoe boxes with miscellaneous cooking accessories. i'm gonna move all my baking stuff atthis point in the pantry. i think that's the best solution for wanting everythingin one place that includes the baking accessories, the baking pans, flour, sugar,and the electric mixer. and then this shoe box has stuff for barbecuing androasting. and then to the left of this
cabinet in this sliding drawer, i do haveoils and sauces that i use for cooking. i'm going to take everything out and putit on this bedsheet. and then it's so much easier just to pull it away fromthe cabinet so i can get into it, clean it up, and then put everything back. and then the other stuff i'm just goingto put it on the counter above and sort it from there. and right behind this piece of wood ihave these barbecue tongs that i hang with a command hook. my main goal indecluttering this cabinet was to get rid of all the baking supplies because i'mgoing to consolidate them and put them
in one zone. so these are the baking pansthat came out of there. and then i also took out the two bowls and the measuring cup. and i took out the shoebox with the baking accessories. above my stove andmicrowave, there's a small cabinet, and i had these two baking appliances plus mymixer, which i took out, and i'm going to put them also with the other bakingsupplies. this is the cabinet that is above my microwave and stove. i put theelectric can opener there and the toaster. and here is the panini maker,waffle maker, and ice shaver. so i think this cabinet now is going to be calledthe small appliances cabinet. so taking out the toaster and the electric canopener from the bottom cabinet really
created more space. alright. so these are the bottles i amkeeping. i was able to consolidate one bottle and then cleaned out thecontainers. and i got rid of two big bins, and i'm just using these smaller binswith handles that i got from the container store. this is the containerthat holds the oil that i use the most so that will be in the sliding drawer.this container will be behind that, and these are backup sauces. and these aresauces that i don't use that often so these will be on the shelf. this will be in the sliding drawerbecause of the height of the bottles.
they won't fit on the shelf, but this onewill. these are a little too tall so i'm going to lay them down in the back. these last two bamboo cuttingboards i don't actually use for cutting. i use them for cheese and deli trays soi'm just going to lay them flat onto the sliding drawer. and since we use our ricecooker all the time, i'm going to put it here in the front of the drawer. we can just always open the cabinet and grab it. or if we need to we can always pull itout just a little bit.
