the athens modular is all about customization. we have a myriad of pieces to help you workaround those architectural elements of doors, windows or corners so you can truly make thisyour own. the athens modular is really inspired by thebuilt-in english libraries of historic homes with the recessed panels and the thick crownmolding. we wanted to take that same idea, all thoseconstruction details so they can get the look of the customized cabinetry for a fractionof the price. there are a few fun things i love about theathens modular, first is the ladder. it looks interesting but it’s also incrediblyfunctional.
we have the brass bar and it’s actuallya load-bearing ladder made of solid alder. second are these pull-out tray features onthe bases of all the pieces. it gives you an extra surface, exactly whereyou need it, when you need it. and finally, there’s a hidden compartmentin the corner-unit. it’s located in the lower-lefthand side,and it’s just small enough to hide your treasures or just to have fun with. all of these thing work together to give youa piece that will stand the test of time.
